Great Cow Harbor Day Weekend 2017

Get ready for a parade, vendors, live music and a 10K road race with a killer hill.

Back in the day, Northport was once called “The Great Cow Harbor.” Fitting to its name, cows used to graze on the grass fields along the harbor.

Although those fields are now two parks and the name of the town has officially changed, residents still celebrate the great history of Northport each year with Cow Harbor Day Weekend.

Saturday, Sept. 16 and Sunday, Sept. 17 will be packed with activities: a popular road race, concerts, a parade, vendors, amusement rides and much more.
