'Deck the Halls Holiday Tour' Tradition in Northport

Northport Historical Society’s “Deck the Halls Holiday Tour” returns this weekend.

The Northport tradition is a holiday-inspired self-guided tour of houses and historic sites. The iconic Thompson Building, built in 1889, will be on the tour, as well as many other eclectic places.

Residents will be able to enjoy music, sweet treats and surprises along the way on Sunday, Dec. 11 from noon to 4 p.m.

Tickets are $26 for members and $31 for non-members. Prices increase by $5 on the day of the event.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the not-for-profit Northport Historical Society, which preserves the history of Northport.
