Early Release for Northport Schools

Due to Tuesday's snowstorm, students in the Northport-East Northport School District will be dismissed early, Superintendent Marylou McDermott announced.

All after-school and evening activities have been cancelled and there will be no afternoon kindergarten or after-school SCOPE program.  Students will be released as follows:

Northport High School - Approximately noon
Elementary Schools - Approximately 12:30 p.m.
(with the exception of Norwood)
Norwood Ave Elementary School - Approximately 12:45 p.m.
East Northport Middle School - Approximately 1:00 p.m.
