East Northport Got The Most Snow On Long Island
The community received more snow than any other on the island during the recent nor'easter.

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — East Northport had more snow dumped on it than anywhere else on Long Island. The community received 18.1 inches of snow during the nor'easter as of 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to unofficial data from the National Weather Service.
The snow totals were submitted by trained spotters and members of the public.
Meteorologists are watching a developing storm system that could bring more snow to the area this weekend. There's a 40 percent chance of snow on Sunday, according to the latest NWS forecast.

The next highest snow total on Long Island was Hicksville, which garnered 17.6 inches. In Suffolk, it was Smithtown, which clocked in at 17.
