East Northport Learning Center Wins Bethpage Best Award

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — The Huntington Learning Center of East Northport was voted by Long Islanders as the best learning center on the island in the Bethpage Best of Long Island 2021 awards.

The East Northport center has aimed to help thousands of students of all ages and abilities in Suffolk and Nassau counties become better students by improving their grades and study habits, boosting their confidence, achieving high scores on the SAT/ACT, preparing for college success and more.

This year marked the first time a Huntington Learning Center has won the award. There are approximately 200 learning centers on Long Island, according to the East Northport center's news release. Residents nominate and vote for the winners for the Bethpage Best awards.

"This award means so much to everyone working hard each day at our center on behalf of the
students in this community," said Kris Zdyb of the East Northport Huntington Learning Center via news release. "We have a truly amazing team of teachers who are solely focused on helping students achieve their goals. Their commitment to helping children succeed combined with the proven Huntington approach allow us to make incredible strides with students. In addition, we’re so grateful to the families here on Long Island who we serve. Helping their children is a privilege that we do not take for granted. Thanks to this community for this true honor. We’re looking forward to continuing to help students this year and beyond!"

Zdyb also credited his team leader and manager, Tara Flynn, with the learning center's success.

Since its 1977 inception, Huntington has worked with thousands of students across the country. Its certified teachers deliver individualized instruction across a wide range of academic areas to students from kindergarten through high school. The company takes a caring approach to helping students improve their academic skills and boost their confidence. Through comprehensive evaluations, personalized learning plans, individualized tutoring and regular communication with families and schools, Huntington aims to achieve notable results.

branch.
