Free Throw Contest To Be Held At Trinity Regional School

The free throw competition is open to boys and girls from nine to 14 years old.

East Northport, NY — The Fr. Thomas A. Judge Knights of Columbus Council 6893 announced on Tuesday that this year's annual Free Throw Contest will be held on Monday, January 13th, at the Trinity Regional School gym. The event is open to boys and girls aged nine to 14, and is non-sectarian. The free throw competition is a qualifying event for the district and regional level contests, which culminate in the New York State finals in West Point in April.

The gym is located at 1025 Fifth Avenue in East Northport. Children can register beginning at 7 p.m. with their birth certificates. Competitors will make 15 free throws and compete in age groups. Winners then move on to the district contest on Monday, February 11th, also held at Trinity Regional.
