Game Night Fundraiser Friday for Child in Need

This Friday, the National Honor Society at Northport High School will host a night of Zingo, a game similar to bingo, as a fundraiser to help a Long Island family whose daughter was injured in a near-drowning accident.

Kayla Marianetti nearly drowned when she was 17 months old.  She now requires years of extensive rehabilitation and treatments to get her life back, Rob Dennis, co-advisor for the honor society, said.

Community members are invited to play at Northport High School within the large cafeteria Jan. 31 at 6 p.m. Participants will play for prizes at $3 a game.
