EAST NORTHPORT, NY — An East Northport woman has joined fellow Long Islanders in giving back to those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

Colette Corbett says she recently set up a Sharing Table in front of her home. The table has food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, toys and books for anyone in the community to take what they need.Donations are provided by the community.

Corbett opened her table on Monday morning after she became aware of Sharing Tables of NY, an idea with the motto "Take what you need, and leave what you can, if you can," founded by Mary Kate Tischler.
