Knights Shave Their Heads For A Good Cause

The Fr. Thomas A. Judge Knights of Columbus participated in the St. Baldrick's "VIRTUAL EVENT 2021" to raise funds to fight childhood cancer

East Northport- Several members of the Fr. Thomas A. Judge Knights of Columbus Council No. 6893 had a great day on Sunday, March 14th, at the special St Baldrick's Miller's Ale House "Virtual" event to raise funds to help fight childhood cancer!
Thanks to Isak and David Davydov and the friendly barbers at Manny's Barber Shop in East Northport, the Fr. Judge K of C team got their 'noggins' shaved bald to show solidarity with those who often lose their hair during cancer treatment. Also helping out at Manny's were volunteers Jennifer McGorry and her daughter Ella who signed in "Shavees" and helped everything go smoothly.

After the head shaving, the team went to Miller's Ale House for a light repast (see photos)! The hard working shavees so far have raised more than $7,000 and they're well on the way to reaching their goal of $8,000!! (Maybe more?)
