Larkfield Road Work Continues For 2 More Days
Work on Larkfield Road is expected to continue for the next two days, per the Town of Huntington.
EAST NORTHPORT, NY — The Huntington Highway Department will continue working on milling and paving sections of Larkfield Road in East Northport on Tuesday and Wednesday, weather permitting, the Town of Huntington said.
The Town Board recently accepted payment from National Grid for their share of the cost to repave sections of the road where they finished installing new gas lines. These sections of Larkfield Road run from Cedar Road to Meadowlark Road and Garfield Place to Pulaski Road. Please expect delays during this time. National Grid still has major utility work to do in the other areas of Larkfield Road. Questions can be directed to the Highway Office: 631-499-0444.
Roads in Greenlawn and Elwood are expected to be worked on as well over the next two weeks.
