Long Island Spring 2021 Youth Flag Football League
Team, group and individual registration welcome - www.NSFlag.com
Huntington, Melville, Dix Hills Spring Youth Flag Football Leagues
The big plus about flag football is that it teaches a child all about the fundamentals and techniques that are found in every version of football. We will offer both recreational and competitive divisions
Unlike tackle football, flag football players rotate from position to position, playing both defense and offense, kids can learn the function and responsibility of all positions. Youth flag players develop skills for throwing and catching the ball. Coaches can get very creative with plays, giving kids more time at certain positions if there’s a talent or interest there.

For parents, enrolling your child in flag football is the perfect way to get him/her involved with sports and away from the video games, for at least a few hours. Flag football is real football with all the strategy, fundamentals, teamwork and the benefits of exercise without the repeated contact and potential for injury with every play.
