Maryann Maltese-Sponsor's Women's History Month Essay
March is Women's History Month -Tell me about a Woman in your life or who has mentored you.
Maryann Maltese, is sponsoring an Essay Contest in recognition of Women's History Month-March. What a great time of year for young people to submit an essay discussing how a Woman within their own life inspires them. Perhaps this Wonderful Woman mentored them and provided a source of encouragement.
NYS Legislature is going to decide on a number of Women's agenda items during the month of March right before NYS Budget Passes-in April 2021. Women are still fighting for Full Equality in New York State and what better way to celebrate Women's accomplishments then for young people to write a 300 word essay proudly discussing Which Woman inspired them-or mentored them in a profound manner. Feel free to be creative-add artwork, use powerpoint, create-poster oriented theme-it's a creative think tank essay. With Spring in the air-what better way to honor Women-then for young people to say it within their own words how they feel about a Special Women in their life.
Essays can be hand written-or typed. Art work submitted by PDF, or if one creates Poster-take picture with yourself and perhaps the Woman you have selected as your submission. Please include contact information; Your Name, address, age, school, grade included on the back of the Essay entry. Prizes will be distributed to the winners and everyone who enters will receive acknowledgement. Maryann Maltese with Parent permission-will forward local essay winners to the local papers for write up's and a little press coverage of their very own. Additionally-with Family permission-Winning Essays will be sent to NYS Legislature's Women's Caucus Groups for possible inclusion within their media circuit.

Maryann Maltese, is a Licensed Real Estate Associate with Cow Harbor Weichert. In her free time-Maryann, is a Certified Substitute Teacher with Brentwood UFSD and a Tenured NYS Communications Regional Manager with NYS Legislature both State Senate and State Assembly for 20 years.
