Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Char & Jett

NORTHPORT, NY — Char and Jett, a pair of 5-month-old bonded sisters, were named the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

Jett was described as "the silliest little girl" by rescue volunteer Lora Wild. She always wants to play with fellow cats, dogs, and humans. When she gets tired, she looks for snuggles and love.

"She is full of curiosity, and watching her is pure entertainment and joy," Wild said.

Char will greet people with "the loudest purr," as if she has been waiting for them a whole day, according to Wild. She is characterized as fearless and will play with anyone who gives her attention — including the dog she was fostered with.

"These two beautiful little girls with their big eyes are now in our habitats waiting to be adopted into a home where they can run around and play or lay their heads down and rest safely and peacefully," Wild said. "They would very much love to be adopted together, as they are family and look out for one another."

They are spayed, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
