NORTHPORT, NY — Tweety and Sylvester, a pair of 3-month-old bonded siblings, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

"Tweety and Sylvester were found by one of our organization's fosters in her window well, clenching on to each other and frightened," Lora Wild, a volunteer with the cat rescue, told Patch via email. "They were so tiny and hungry and were found in the nick of time. They have blossomed into healthy, beautiful little kittens."

Sylvester is a black and white male, as well as a snuggle bug, according to Wild. He loves human attention and will nuzzle people's faces with kisses, she added. He was described as fun, sweet and incredibly happy. He also likes to search for his sister to play with and cuddle her as they curl up to sleep.

Tweety is a petite tabby but has a heart the size of a giant, Wild said. She seeks out her foster family's dog, who is 17 years old, deaf and blind, in order to cuddle and comfort him, according to Wild. She loves to play with her brother, as well as receive attention from people.

"Both kittens are wonderful and are looking for a home filled with love where they can grow up with each other and stay together forever," Wild said.

Both kittens will be spayed or neutered, have all their shots and will be micro-chipped. They are litter box-trained and FELV/FIV negative.
