Northport Brewery Offers $1 Beer To Hospitality Workers For Year

NORTHPORT, NY — A Northport brewery is stepping up to help out fellow workers in the hospitality field. Harbor Head Brewing Co. announced Tuesday that all hospitality professionals can buy $1 pints of its Dockyard Lager through Sept. 15, 2021.

The coronavirus pandemic has heavily impacted the hospitality industry, the brewery stated in a news release. Many venues remain closed today, with thousands of hospitality professionals unemployed.

"We knew we had to do something big to help support our fellow hospitality workers who have been impacted by COVID-19," said Sosh Andriano and Candi Schade, co-owners of Harbor Head Brewing Co. "This beer is just a small way for us to say we got your back, we will get through this together, and WE ARE ONE."

Hospitality professionals can visit the Harbor Head tasting room noon to 9 p.m. seven days a week and present their pay stub, with personal information crossed out, to enjoy the Dockyard $1 special. Dockyard Lager is described as the brewery's "signature" beer.

"At Harbor Head Brewing Co., we have always been about serving our community when our doors opened in 2017, and the mission is just as important today," the brewery stated.
