Northport-East Northport School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Northport-East Northport is September 6. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Northport-East Northport Union Free School Districts has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Day)

February

• 2/19 - 2/23: No School (Winter Recess)

March

• 3/30 - 4/6: No School (Spring Recess)

April

• 4/2 - 4/6: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/22: Last Student Day
