Northport: Meet The Candidates Night For Trustees Information
The three candidates for Northport Village trustees will make statements and then field questions from the audience.
NORTHPORT, NY — A Meet the Candidates night will be held in Northport ahead of the March 18 election where villagers will elect two trustees. Three candidates vying for the pair of seats will try to leave an impression on the community at the Meet the Candidates event scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, March 12 at the American Legion at 7 Woodside Ave., Northport.
The candidates for village trustees are incumbent Deputy Mayor Jerry Maline, incumbent Trustee Mercy Smith and Dave Weber Jr.
Candidates will issue statements, and then the audience will have an opportunity to ask them questions. Light refreshments will be served. The event is sponsored by the Northport Chamber of Commerce.

The Northport Village election is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18 at Northport Village Hall.
