Northport Police Blotter: Road Rage Incident Reported
ALSO: A stranded boater was rescued and brought ashore, police say.
NORTHPORT, NY — Check out some recent police incidents for the Northport Village area from June 14 through June 20.
The Northport Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- A road rage incident was reported on June 14. A woman told police that another vehicle cut her off on Fort Salonga Road, and the driver was yelling at her. Police could not find the other vehicle.
- Solicitors were asked to leave the Burt Avenue area on June 15 by police.
- A driver's vehicle died suddenly on Scudder Avenue on June 16. Police were able to move the car onto the road's shoulder. A tow truck was able to remove the vehicle.
- A stranded boater was rescued by Suffolk County Police Department Marine Bravo on June 16.
- Landscapers were working on Fort Salonga Road at 7:10 a.m. — before the allowed time. An employee was told of the time restrictions, and he agreed to wait before starting to work again.
- A boat became disabled in Northport Harbor on June 19. Police towed it to Northport Yacht Club.
