Here's what you need to know ahead of the tree lighting ceremony in Northport Village.
NORTHPORT, NY — A tree lighting ceremony in Northport is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 29, which falls on a Friday. It will take place in the Northport Village Park at the end of Main Street, according to the Northport Chamber of Commerce.
The ceremony will feature caroling by the Northport Chorale, Santa Claus will arrive in a firetruck, and residents can thank the Northport Volunteer Fire Department for their work in keeping the community safe.
Free hot chocolate and cookies will be served, courtesy of Shipwreck Diner, Copenhagen Bakery and Northport Feed & Grain.
