Police Seeking Identity Thief
Police are looking for a man who used a Suffolk County resident's identity to apply for credit across New York State.

Local authorities are seeking the public’s help with identifying and locating a man who used another person’s identity to open several lines of credit and make fraudulent charges.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Identity Theft Section detectives are looking for a man who used a Suffolk County resident’s personal information to apply for credit at several locations in Suffolk County, Nassau County, New York City and upstate New York, including at a Kohl’s in Deer Park on Aug. 8.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. If you have information on the identities or location of these individuals, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
