Robke's Gets Liquor License Back After Coronavirus Violations
The Northport Italian restaurant had its liquor privileges restored this week after last month's suspension.

NORTHPORT, NY— Robke's Italian restaurant in Northport is back in business: the liquor business, that is. The no-reservations spot had its liquor license suspended in January after the New York State liquor authority observed what they said were repeated violations of COVID-19 health rules.
Robke's announced the reinstatement on Facebook on Monday afternoon: "Our liquor license just arrived. Let’s drink!"
On both December 9 and January 24, state inspectors witnessed staff not wearing face masks, a lack of physical distancing between tables and patrons at the bar, food being served after 10 p.m. and tables not distanced six feet apart.
