Women do we have Equality in NYS yet?
Check out Governor's Cuomo's 2020 Women's Agenda Budget which states's he's proposed items-but what happened to Women' Earnings of 2014?
"Governor Cuomo proposed an ambitious 2020 Women’s Agenda to continue to lead the nation in not only protecting, but also advancing women’s rights until we achieve true gender equality for all New York women". Sourced for NYS Governor's Women's Agenda Website-12/29.2020.
What does that mean for the Women of NYS? Email me.
Maryann Maltese, a Tenured-Communications Downstate Regional Manager and Chief of Staff for the NYS Legislature continues to advocate for Women's Earnings Equality by the issuance aspects of Corrective Earnings/Wages administered to the Women who are entitled within the NYS Legislature. Maryann Maltese is one of these women who has submitted a request to NYS Legislature with supporting evidence that NYS Legislature underpaid Maryann Maltese each and every Employment Contract provided. In order for Women in NYS to have Full Equality-Earnings Matters within State Government must be ironed out first for any and all "other Women's Agenda Budget Items that have passed-signed into Law take full impact for the Women of New York State", said Maryann Maltese.

Ladies-do not be fooled by language that may lead one to believe that "Full Equality Aspects of Women's Agenda are implemented". It's important for NYS to refocus their budget directives back to their Passage within the 2014-2017 State Budgets issuance aspects of Corrective Earnings for Women Staff-Employees in the Legislature that have "proof that they are one who did not receive earnings equality". Evidence=what is that and how does a Women with Earnings Equality Matter demonstrate entitlement of outstanding earnings-An Employee must provide copies of their W-2's, Tax Returns, Proof of Earnings-which you can receive from Social Security Administration that lists your annual Earnings and perhaps; a few witnesses perhaps other Employees where the duties and responsibilities were similar-same and duration of time in Employment meets the Mark for issuance. As a Women advocate in my private life-I have just mapped out the process that the NYS Legislature can follow to create Actuary Findings (accounting) to support my claim and issue to me or any other State Female in State Government their retroactive earnings.
Earnings Equality is what set's women as Equals in the Workforce and must take roots now in 2020-so that all of the other Wonderful advances women have strived for in our professional and personal lives-now actually means we have accomplished. Without NYS taking the must fundamental step to plant the roots of Equality for us at large-then the Blooms of our success is not Statutory in State Code and if NYS-continues to not Implement that necessary seeding-then Women-do not have Inherent Equality-and Claims such as mine in the Employment Arena with NYS will continue to sit dormant.

Corrective Earnings issued to Maryann Maltese; as the Employee of NYS-Tenured; Respected, One who achieved during her tenure in State Legislative Service for the Members and for the districts they represented-that is the Role Model to Base Issuance aspects of Corrective or Retroactive Earnings to be issued-then Women in NYS are Equal. The Signage of Maryann Maltese-Earnings' Equality is the roots of of the successes-so that Women in the Workforce are paid true value for their Employment Services and have a process in HRA to be educated first-or to then-pursue administratively claims if workforce aspects are not agreed upon. It will lessen the CaseLoad at Judicial and provide them with a framework process so that new Case Law that may emerge; can help add to the bloom of the Women's Earnings Equality Law. No Fault Divorce Law Statutory support enacted in 2010-it did not take into account Women's Earnings aspects as being necessary at Equal. 2019-2021-$15.00 NYS increase of Minimum Wage Increase Law-doesn't include Women's Earnings Equality or the required Issuance for Corrective Earnings Law enacted by NYS Legislatures between 2014-2017. Thus-without Issuance of one's Corrective Earnings who was or is Tenured of Employment Service and in Inactive State Employment Status-then Women do not have Equality in NYS-that must be finalized immediately for Women to have Full recognizable aspects of Equality. Why hasn't Governor Andrew Cuomo finalized this as he is the Lead supporter of this Women's Agenda-He ran on WEP Political Party as well (Women's Equality Party)? Maryann Maltese-is a Staff Legislative Member who meets 2014-2017 Passed State Budgets that included grounds to meet-and as NYS is in the Employment Business-that section of the State Budget can NEVER be utilized for other measures-and if a staff member-such as myself has placed the employer on notice by email-that stands as Notice; and NYS must adhere-he's simply ignoring it.
As New York State Session will re-convene today-perhaps the last day of 2020; it's imperative for Women and their supporters to get on their email or phones; and send or resend-communications; stating "I support the passage and enactment (Cuomo signing or 2/3 override by their houses) of Maryann Maltese's Earnings Equality Legislation immediately because that will give me or my Sister, Wife, Mother Earnings Equality finally in NYS". Provide your name and address to each of your State Legislators and the Governor. That's taking action during Pandemic in the safest way possible-it's almost a new decade-as women-emailing and being vigilant with this is important. Keep tract of your email responses you might receive to your email-and hold on to them.
As the Backdrop-Maryann announced her Candidacy for NYS Assembly-12th AD-where she was denied access to the Ballot-that Decision does not PERMIT-the Governor or the NYS Legislature from correcting my prior Employment Matter-Corrective Earnings.
