World Cup: Northport's Top Spots To Watch U.S. Vs. France
Team USA is undefeated through their first four games. Here are some top spots in Northport to watch the quarterfinal game Friday.

NORTHPORT, NY — The United States and France are set for a quarterfinal showdown in the 2019 Women's World Cup, and Northport's own Allie Long is part of the 23-player roster that is hoping to help Team USA advance to the next round.
Long's hometown, Northport, is offering a variety of great options to catch the game, which is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday.
The U.S team entered the tournament as the overall favorites to win the competition, and, as of now, they've met those lofty expectations. The 23-player roster from the United States have won all four of their games, including a dominant 13-0 win over Thailand.

Star player Alex Morgan is the joint high goal scorer in the tournament with five goals and the team's defense has been tremendous, only allowing one goal in the four games. But the Americans are only now entering the truly challenging part of the competition. The team barely squeaked by a strong Spanish side in the Round of 16.
The United States will have to up their game even more against a France team that also hasn't lost in the tournament, and comes into the match ranked No. 4 in the world.
