Ossining Town Hall Meeting on Homestead Option and Revaluation of Property Jan 20

Ossining town officials have called a Town Hall Meeting for Jan. 20 at the Ossining Public Library.

It will start at 7:30 p.m., after a joint meeting of the town council and the town planning board.

John Wolham, Director of the Southern Region for the New York State Office of Real Property Tax Services, will discuss the Homestead Option, the required timeline for investigation, and the action steps leading up to the town of Ossining’s decision whether to set residential property taxes as a specific proportion of the overall tax levy.

Melissa Baer from Tyler Technologies and our Town Assessor Fernando Gonzalez will give an update on the progress of the Town-wide Re-valuation.
