Maybe we are just skipping spring this year. That's certainly what it feels like at this point as there's yet more snow in the forecast for Long Island.
We may see a coating of snow Friday morning, but Saturday is when there will be the potential for accumulating snow, the National Weather Service says.
The current forecast calls for snow to begin falling around 11 a.m. Saturday. It will likely mix with rain through the afternoon before possibly turning to all snow in the evening.

Joe Cioffi, a meteorologist for WPIX-TV and FiOS1 News, says his "best guess at this early stage is the potential for several slushy inches."
