Police release surveillance photos from incident.
Nassau Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man they say broke into a Sea Cliff home on March 12 and stole a 21-year-old woman’s wallet from her bedroom while she slept.
Detectives say that between 3:30 a.m. and 7 a.m., an unknown man entered a residence on 8th Avenue through the rear door. He proceeded to a second floor bedroom, where the woman was asleep, and removed a Coach wallet containing an undetermined amount of cash, a credit card and a bank card. He then made unauthorized purchases at local stores with the woman’s cards.
Police request that anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
