"As the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to impact our fellow Long Island residents, many people are facing a great hardship at this time," Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino said in a statement. "I am proud that the Town will be partnering with Car Show Long Island to host a Cruise Thru Food Drop for our neighbors in need, as this event will not only help provide residents with a fun outlet to give back to those in need, but also practice social distancing while helping to champion a great cause."
Residents can help their neighbors by donating non-perishable food items and pet food at this event. Show cars and non-show cars are welcomed, and proper social distancing rules will be enforced.
