Islanders Partner With Oyster Bay To Offer Street Hockey Clinic

OYSTER BAY, NY — The Town of Oyster Bay is partnering with the New York Islanders to set up a street hockey clinic for children in kindergarten through seventh grade.

The six-week program will be held at town parks in Syosset-Woodbury, Massapequa, and Farmingdale.

"We are so pleased to partner with the New York Islanders to offer this fun and affordable street hockey clinic," said Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino. "This great program will introduce girls and boys to the game of hockey through a non-competitive, instructional clinic."

Registration is $125 per person. All participants will receive a New York Islanders hockey stick and gift bag. Residents can register online at NewYorkIslanders.com/StreetHockey. For more information, call 516-501-6700 ext. 4, or email communityrelations@newyorkislanders.com.

    • 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. — grades K-2
    • 5:45 - 6:45 p.m. — grades 3-5
    • 7 - 8 p.m. — grades 6 and 7

Marjorie Post Community Park, 451 Unqua Rd., Massapequa

  • Sundays, June 27 to Aug. 8 (no class July 4)
    • 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. — grades K-2
    • 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. — grades 3-5
    • 12 - 1 p.m. — grades 6 and 7

Ellsworth Allen Town Park, 45 Motor Ave., Farmingdale

  • Mondays, June 28 to Aug. 2
