LOCUST VALLEY, NY — Knockout Beauty — a bicoastal beauty boutique and skincare consultancy — has expanded its footprint on Long Island.

The store opened last month in Locust Valley, joining its other locations in Bridgehampton, New York City, and Los Angeles. This is Knockout Beauty's first franchise outpost.

"We had many clients in Locust Valley prior to opening," founder Cayli Cavaco Reck told Patch. "A great space became available and my dear friend, Christin Rueger, who is a Locust Valley resident, was the perfect person to own the first Knockout Beauty franchise. She is like a sister to me, so I knew that the client would get the full Knockout Beauty experience in her store."

Like its other stores, the Locust Valley location is stocked with beauty products and wellness supplements handpicked by Cavaco Reck. They include black mint cleansers from Odacité, a natural skincare line from Paris, peppermint avocado scalp scrubs from California-based brand Philip B, and cream highlight sticks from Westman Atelier, the indie brainchild of celebrity makeup artist Gucci Westman.

In addition to the dozens of products for sale, customers can book treatments with certified estheticians or schedule skin assessments with trained consultants.

"The store is filled with the same product assortment and level of service clients have grown to love and expect from Knockout Beauty," Rueger said. "But this location, in particular, has a cottage-like setting with a neighborhood feel. On a typical day, you might have someone coming from their facial upstairs, a client discussing a new regimen or adding to their existing, a customer buying a gift, and maybe someone there just saying hello and chatting with the others they may know from the area."

Cavaco Reck — the daughter of former Vogue editors Paul Cavaco and Kezia Keeble — has spent years researching the science behind skincare. Having dealt with melasma, Cavaco Reck says her business takes a "results-driven approach" to beauty and strives to help clients meet their skin care goals.

"We are unique in that we provide consults and follow-ups. This ensures that clients are reaching their skin goals and allows for us to track results," Cavaco Reck said.

Knockout Beauty's newest outpost is located at 1 The Plaza. Its hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Visit www.knockoutbeauty.com or call 516-200-5062 for more information.
