Lafazan Raises Funds With Coach Meeting House For Pet Pantry
Oyster Bay's Coach Meeting House is raising money for Baxter's Pet Pantry.

OYSTER BAY, NY — A Nassau County lawmaker has partnered with the owner of Oyster Bay's Coach Meeting House to raise money for Baxter's Pet Pantry.
Legislator Josh Lafazan of Woodbury team up with Rustan Lundstram to support the animal pantry, which is the pet-focused division of Long Island Cares - The Harry Chapin Food Bank. Coach Meeting House will raise money by offering "The Legislator" — a cup of whipped cream for dogs — in exchange for donations.
On Wednesday, Lafazan and Lundstrum presented $500 in money raised so far to Karen Sullivan, community development coordinator for the food bank.

"Pets are beloved members of countless families throughout our community – and when their caretakers face financial hardships, they too experience the impact," Lafazan said in a news release. "I thank Russ Lundstrum and everyone at Coach Meeting House for once again partnering with us to highlight and support the essential mission of Baxter’s Pet Pantry, an organization that has served a unique, indispensable role in our region’s COVID-19 relief efforts."
