Lavine to Host Affordable Health Care Seminar at Plainview Library

Public is invited to discussion with experts on wide range of issues.

Assemblyman Charles Lavine will host a community seminar on the Affordable Health Care Act and the New York Health Benefit Exchange at a meeting set for Nov. 21, at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library.

The meeting, which is open to the entire community, is planned from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Library's auditorium, Lavine, D-Glen Cove, said.

Trained experts will be on hand to provide information as well as answer questions about the new rules and regulations; how the ACA will impact you; protecting your rights under the law; financial assistance; strategies for acquiring quality and affordable health care coverage; connecting with the health care and health insurance plans best suited to your needs; and where to get additional information.
