Memorial Ceremony in Oyster Bay to Honor 9/11 Victims

Members of the community are invited to attend a memorial ceremony in honor of those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

The vigil will be held Monday, Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the September 11th Memorial, located at the Western Waterfront on West End Avenue.

Sen. Carl Marcellino will be joined by the Oyster Bay & Atlantic Steamer Fire Departments, members of the clergy, the Oyster Bay Community Band and John Delaney playing the bagpipes. All are invited to attend.

A reception will follow at the Atlantic Steamer Fire Co #1 Marine Rescue Facility.
