The Milleridge Inn Named One Of New York's Hidden Gems

The inn made one website's list of the "10 Hidden Attractions Locals Want To Keep For Themselves In New York." What's another hidden gem?

We all have a secret spot that we don't want anyone to know about.

For New Yorkers, the website Only In Your State listed the "10 Hidden Attractions Locals Want To Keep For Themselves." Only one Long Island location made the list, The Milleridge Inn in Jericho.

"Giving you a list of lesser-known places that we wish we didn’t have to share with anybody else, here are some of the Empire State’s more hidden attractions that us locals love," the website said.

Here's what Only In Your State had to say about The Millerdige Inn:

A magical place to visit during any holiday when you find yourself out on Long Island, The Milleridge Inn offers both an amazing place to eat and charming shops that you'll want to set aside time to visit. The building is full of history and dates all the way back to the late 1600s, now serving as one of the best restaurants in the Jericho area. After guests are done dining they can walk to the other side of the parking lot to visit the Milleridge Shopping Village. Explore the shopping village and you'll find a general store, cafe, Christmas shop and a variety of other stores in the village.

The Milleridge Inn, located at 585 North Broadway, also made the website's list of "The 12 Places You Should Eat In New York In 2017."

Earlier this year, the Millerdige Inn held a "LIRR Sucks Party" and offered a free drink to all train riders at the end of a hellish commuting week. Any place that holds an event like that is a hidden gem in our book.
