BROOKVILLE, NY—Guiness, tan/black coonhound/platt hound, is missing. His owner, Alicia Curci, and her friend, Haley Wickwar, are desperately looking for Guiness.

Guiness is a rescue dog at a non-for-profit animal rescue based in Westbury. On Monday, June 24 between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., he was spooked by fireworks at a barn in Brookville, located at 207 Brookville Road, and he ran off into the woods.

He has been reported missing to Brookville Police and the Town of Oyster Bay shelter. Guiness was last seen around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the vicinity of 223/224 Brookville Road in a backyard. He is microchipped.
