Nassau County Police: Assault / Baldwin

The First Squad is investigating an Assault that occurred on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 10:46 PM in Baldwin.

According to Detectives, First Precinct Officers responded to the intersection of Edna Court and Haig Street for a call for shots fired. Upon arrival officers located a 17-year-old a male with a gunshot wound to his torso. The victim was transported by a Nassau County Police Department Ambulance to a local hospital for treatment, where he is in stable condition. An investigation determined that two more victims were involved in this incident and were transported to a local hospital prior to police arrival. One victim, a 21-year -old male had a gunshot wound to his arm and is in stable condition. The second victim, a 20- year-old male had a gunshot wound to his abdomen and is currently in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
