Bayville Man, 66, Last Seen Wednesday Found: Nassau Police

BAYVILLE, NY — The Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad is searching for a 66-year old man who was last seen leaving a residential group home in Bayville just after 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
Detectives said Niel Newman was last seen on a video surveillance camera leaving the Rosewood Residential Group Home, which is located at 59 Bayville Ave. He is described as a white man, who has blonde hair and blue eyes, and stands at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 135 lbs. He was wearing a blue hoodie, gray sweatpants and white sneakers. His destination is unknown.

Detectives are requesting anyone with information on Newman’s whereabouts to contact the Nassau’s Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573-7347, or to call 911.
