Jerry Mavros, 86, was a lifelong resident of Oyster Bay who died on August 27, 2016.

Beloved husband of the late Stella. Loving father of Sandy O’Connell, Patty (Tommy) Brexel, and Jerry (Denise). Cherished grandfather of Billy, Jackie, Megan, Susan, Kassandra, Althea, Cassidy, Taylor, Mackenzie, and Summer. Great-grandfather of 5.

Former owner of the Oyster Bay Restaurant. Member of the Oyster Bay Lions Club and the Quentin Roosevelt Post # 4 American Legion. Founding member of the "ROMEO" club.

Family will receive friends at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home Inc. 293 South Street Oyster Bay Tuesday 7-9 p.m. Wednesday 2-4, & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass Thursday St. Dominic's R.C. Church 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow St. John’s Memorial Cemetery.
