Oyster Bay Cove, East Norwich Among Best Places In NY To Raise A Family

Oyster Bay Cove and East Norwich are among 50 Long Island towns that made Niche.com’s list of the 2017 best places to raise a family in New York.

Oyster Bay Cove came in at No. 37 while East Norwich was ranked at No. 87. Nearby neighborhoods of Laurel Hollow and Muttontown were ranked at No. 11 and No. 33, respectively. (see the full rankings below)

Kensington took the top spot in the state rankings, and ranked No. 44 nationally.

These rankings were created using information about public schools, crime rates, cost of living and family friendly amenities. Data was pulled from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources, according to Niche.
