Oyster Bay Offering Free Flu Shots To Residents 60+ On Nov. 2

OYSTER BAY, NY – Oyster Bay has partnered with NuHealth to provide free flu shots to residents age 60 and older.

The Free Flue Vaccination Program will take place on Nov. 2 at the Town Of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center at 1001 Stewart Avenue in Bethpage. The program will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and vaccinations will be administered on a first come, first served basis.

"Thanks to a partnership with NuHealth, the influenza inoculations are being made available to senior citizens with no out-of-pocket expense," said Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino in a prepared statement. "Health professionals recommend getting a seasonal influenza vaccination annually, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever this year."
