Oyster Bay Rallies Around Homecoming
Homecoming festivities include hall of fame induction, parade, court and game.
Homecoming Saturday was special for several reasons.
But Oyster Bay High School’s choice of sophomore Ryan Radecki as 2013 Grand Marshal was an inspired one. Radecki was injured in a car accident and the community reached out with compassion.
The parade was just one memorable moment. The Baymen Homecoming court featured king Andy Galgano and queen Olivia Agostinello, along with freshman prince Evan Mattel and princess Victoria Vigliotti; sophomore prince Jason Cassella and princess Celeste Matute; junior prince Dante Durrant and princess Marisa Petrillo.

The football dropped a 37-0 decision to Malverne, but earlier in the day Athletic Hall of Fame Chairman Elliot “Butch” Garrison and Athletic Director Kevin Trentowski hosted the induction ceremony for the 2013 inductees into the Oyster Bay Athletic Hall of Fame.
Rebecca Kaplan (Class of 2008), Nicholas Capozzo (’05) and David Wurtz (’03) were on hand to receive their plaques and recognition for their tremendous contributions to Oyster Bay athletics.
