Oyster Bay Swimming Pools Open For Summer Season On June 25

OYSTER BAY, NY — All Town of Oyster Bay swimming pools will open for the summer season, beginning Friday, June 25.

"The warm, sunny days of summer are nearly upon us and all residents may start visiting our pools daily beginning Friday, June 25th," Town Joseph Supervisor Saladino said. "Town Pool memberships offer families and senior citizens access to many great amenities, including upgraded restrooms, pool deck furniture, picnic benches, and sunshades."

Pool hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, weather permitting, through Labor Day. In addition, facilities will operate on a rotational schedule and remain open for an extra hour at least once a week.

The schedule is as follow:

• Monday: Syosset-Woodbury Community Park
• Tuesday: Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park
• Wednesday: Bethpage Community Park
• Thursday: Marjorie R. Post Community Park
• Fridays: All pools open late, including Tappen Beach in Glenwood Landing

Pool memberships can be obtained at each park location. Daily admission rates and nanny memberships are also available.
