Panera Bread To Deliver On Long Island This Year

The new service will bring more than 100 delivery driver jobs to the area.

Here's some good news: Panera Bread plans to launch its delivery service on Long Island, brining more than 100 jobs to the area.

The new delivery service, which will roll out nationwide within the next few months, will bring more than 10,000 new jobs company-wide and 126 on Long Island.

There will be 18 cafes on Long Island implementing the delivery service, and the businesses will be hiring seven drivers each.

The first stores to get delivery service will be located in Patchogue and Bohemia. Those who live within an eight minute drive of a Panera can get their food delivered from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

The delivery minimum is $5 with a $3 delivery service fee.
