Cortlandt To Dedicate New Bathhouse, Snack Bar At Pool

CORTLANDT, NY — The new bathhouse and snack bar at Charles Cook Pool in the town of Cortlandt will be dedicated this weekend.

Town officials said the dedication will happen at noon Saturday, with a rain date for the same time Sunday.

Both of these new state-of-the-art amenities replace an aging bathhouse and snack bar built more than 40 years ago, town officials said.

"We are all very excited about these new additions to our pool campus to benefit all our residents' summer enjoyment in Cortlandt," Supervisor Linda Puglisi said.

Other attractions added to the recreation area over the years include a water spray park, new tennis courts, a nine-hole mini-golf course, a ball field, a nature trail and a new basketball court. The pool was renovated several years ago, according to the town.
