Cortlandt Teen Accused Of Robbing Another At Knifepoint

The meetup was over a vape pen, police said.

CORTLANDT, NY — A 17-year-old Cortlandt resident is accused of robbing another teen at knifepoint Tuesday.

New York State police said they and officers from the Westchester County Police Department were dispatched by Westchester County 911 for a robbery on Watch Hill Road at 12:39 p.m.

Police said a 17-year-old arranged to meet "another juvenile" in order to sell a vape pen. When they met, the former robbed the latter at knifepoint, police alleged.

The 17-year-old was arraigned before the Westchester County Court Youth Part in Superior Court and released to parental custody, police said.
