CVS Continues To Add Coronavirus Vaccination Sites In NY
Vaccine appointments will soon be available at new sites including locations on Long Island and in the Hudson Valley.
NEW YORK — There will be 155 CVS locations where New York residents can get their coronavirus inoculation starting this weekend, with new sites in the Hudson Valley and on Long Island.
CVS Health will begin to administer vaccines to eligible populations as early as Sunday. Appointments for the latest allocation of doses will start to become available for booking on Saturday, as stores receive shipments of vaccine, officials said.
“We’re proud to play a part in increasing access to the vaccine to as many people as possible to enable reopening efforts in the communities we serve,” CVS Pharmacy President Neela Montgomery said. “Feedback on every aspect of the vaccination process has been incredibly positive, from the digital experience to interacting with our team of health care professionals whose incredible efforts are helping to move us one step closer towards the eventual end of the pandemic.”

Eligibility for the shots CVS is providing is still limited.
- You must live in New York.
- People must be age 60 or older.
- Teachers K-12, daycare and preschool workers and staff are eligible.
- NOTE: Some states require more limited eligibility at pharmacies than other vaccine locations.
