Hudson Valley Surprise: Snow Overnight

But no worries, it'll be in the 70s by the end of the work week.

(Rachel Nunes/Patch)

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service says there is a slight chance of rain and snow after 2 a.m. Tuesday in northern Westchester, Putnam and Rockland. It could even snow in the morning in eastern Dutchess, Putnam, Orange and eastern Ulster counties.

Wet snow may not stick at all except in the Catskills. Still, it is enough of a surprise to warrant caution.

Contrast that with Friday — high temperatures in the 70s — and Sunday — highs in the 40s.
