Watch this birthday gift for the public from the Lincoln Depot Museum in Peekskill.
PEEKSKILL, NY — In remembrance of President Abraham Lincoln's birthday and his 1861 speech in Peekskill, the Lincoln Depot Museum offers the public a chance to watch a commemorative video from the Lincoln Society's annual Re-enactment and Remembrance Day.
The coronavirus pandemic meant that the usual in-person celebrations had to be canceled, Lincoln Depot Museum officials said.
The video, produced by Michael J. Miner and narrated by current Lincoln Society President Robert McFarlane, combines the best moments from many of the events and commemorations over the past 10 years.
