NY Walgreens Offering Pfizer Coronavirus Vaccine For Age 12-15

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Walgreens pharmacies across New York, including in the Hudson Valley, are now offering the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine for adolescents ages 12 to 15 years old.

The move follows authorization by the Food and Drug Administration and final guidance by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday.

The pharmacy is offering same-day and walk-in appointments for convenience, according to a news release.

Parents or guardians seeking the vaccine can schedule appointments online at Walgreens.com/ScheduleVaccine, or by calling 1-800-Walgreens.

You must complete the process as a guest if you're scheduling an appointment for someone else.

A parent or legal guardian must complete the registration for minors under the age of 13 and must be present at appointments for all minors.
