CORTLANDT, NY — An Ossining man was found dead after law enforcement began investing a possible suicide attempt.

The New York State Police said troopers were sent to the Bear Mountain Bridge in the town of Cortlandt Tuesday after witnesses call Westchester County 911.

A 69-year-old Ossining man was found dead, police said.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing, but no signs of foul play have been discovered.

Besides the state police, State Park Police, Westchester County Police, the Continental Fire Department and Peekskill Emergency Medical Services responded.
