Peekskill Democrats Choose Candidates For Mayor, Common Council

Peekskill voters went to the polls Tuesday to select who will be on the November ballot on the Democratic Party line.

PEEKSKILL, NY — Voters in the city of Peekskill went to the polls Tuesday to choose Democratic candidates for mayor and the Common Council.

In the mayoral race, incumbent Deputy Mayor Vivian C. McKenzie and Conor A. Greene were facing off for the slot on the November ballot.

According to unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections, with 21 districts out of 22 reporting, McKenzie appears to have received more votes — 77 percent to 23 percent.

There were six candidates vying for three slots on the November ballot.

According to unofficial results, with 21 districts out of 22 reporting, the winners appear to be Robert R. Scott, incumbent Ramon A. Fernandez and incumbent Dwight H. Douglas.

Amy F. Perlow, Amy J. Vele and incumbent Vanessa B. Agudelo were also on the ballot.
